From moment walking in the door the sense of comfort and relaxation hits you. The rooms I was in were lovely and had wonderful street views. Right in middle of town allowed easy walking to many choices for dinner. Easy walking to river. Sam was wonderful with local knowledge. Craig has set a standard not often experienced when seeking a stay away. Fresh local Bacon and eggs self made for breakfast was awesome.

I have stayed twice now while visiting the area for business. The rooms are neat, and well appointed. It's nice that you can make breakfast for yourself using the bacon, eggs, etc. in the fridge. I also like the communal feeling of the kitchen/dining area. My interactions with the staff are always very pleasant. Easy walk to local pubs which serve great food. When I was speaking with the owner, he mentioned that they are about to build in the alfresco dining area to accommodate meals during the colder months. I will definitely be visiting again!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Harbor Mannum now on three seperate occasions. What can I say but it being such a wonderful experience. Craig, your host and house manager Sam are both wonderful people and Craig is very accomodating and communication is easy and stress free. The rooms themselves are beautifully appointed, with everything that you need. Being able to retreat to your own suite, away from the main house is very appreciated. The main house itself is very well appointed, stunning kitchen and plenty of space. A good breakfast awaits you too! In a perfect location, parking out front and walkable distance to the river front. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Mannum that’s affordable but luxurious, pop the Harbor on your list!

Very clean, cleverly designed and well presented accommodation with almost everything supplied. The owner of the hotel has a great passion about bringing this historical bakery back to life while preserving the features from the past times. He’s also passionate about giving his guests the feel of home and the opportunity of meeting each other during the stay, particularly by connecting all the rooms to a common kitchen, laundry, living room and backyard. He’s also a great communicator, clear, patient and friendly to talk to. The house manager, Sam, is also very easy going. She meets you with an induction tour, and sharing of the history of Mannum and the story of the hotel. She treats you like a friend and listens to your need and feedback. My young kids like her a lot. The only thing that we found missing (coming from the background of being an Asian travelling a lot in Asia as well) is disposable slippers, tooth paste and brushes. Not that we are complaining about it but more like a headsup to travellers like us - don’t forget to brings these things with you. Strongly recommend this place to everyone planning to stay in Mannum.

My partner surprised me with this trip for my birthday, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful weekend in Mannum. We were originally booked for two nights, but ended up extending our stay for an extra night because we were enjoying the area so much and still had more to explore. On Friday, we visited Monarto Safari Park, which was an amazing experience, and on Sunday we went on the PS Mayflower paddle boat tour—such a relaxing and memorable way to finish the trip. There are also plenty of charming local shops to browse, which added to the whole experience.

This place was absolutely amazing, beautiful rooms well appointed and a shared space with everything you needed. Fantastic central location and a lovely historic building that has been renovated fantastically, a great place to stay for multiple couples to stay in private rooms but easily come together in the shared kitchen, lounge and outdoor areas. Highly recommend, if we are back this way we I'll definitely be back again.
